About
INDIMAG, aims to be a reflection of every day life of Indians : News items analysed
per a commoner’s view point ; an inspirational story or an email ;a nice photo ; a
moving video are some features we hope to blend into the choices to make INDIMAG
multi-dimensional as compared to other blogs you see that are just text, little graphics,
serious content and lot less fun.
We hope to encourage and showcase the craft of short story writing. You will see
works of fiction and poetry featured more often than the news content. This is because
we hope to be a light version of a literary magazine.
If you have any stories/news/email/picture/link that you wish to share with others, please
do let us know ; we would love to carry that in INDIMAG and credit you for it. If you
have a blog and wish to share content, please send us your link — we will revert back
to you.

FAQ
- Who can use INDIMAG ? : Anyone. We deal with matters revolving around India and the global Indian. If that interests you, you are a welcome guest/user.
- I write and have ideas, but I am scared of blogs; never meddled with it : We can definitely help you. Technology should be an enabler and NOT something that restricts you. If you can write articles, mail it to us : indimag@gmail.com. We will get you acclimitized with blogging ; don’t worry. In short, if you are a writer, we will be more than happy to post for you (under your name- user id ) till you catch up ; What we cannot do, is help you write if you are not a writer
.
- I have ideas, but I am so-so with my language : Bring in your ideas, we will help you with language. We can, hopefully, add and enrich your language but we cannot seed ideas if you don’t have one !
- I already have my blog, but would like to cross-post here : Sure. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ or indimag@gmail.com and send us your Blog URL. - Is this another elitist blog group where english media lovers bash local languages and culture ?: No, we are not them ; and the hope is to NOT be like them, EVER. We will remain rustic, we will have articles that pull the strings of the heart, that are simple, that concern with every day happenings and that talks of every day inspirations. In short lot less politics-bollywood and it’s ilk that the mainstream media saturates you with and lot more LIFE. We are not a ‘Mughalai Khana’, we are ‘Curd Rice with a Lime Pickle and Chips’ that you yearn for when you have had too much of rich stuff. Fresh and refreshing is what we are aiming for…
- What is different at INDIMAG that has NOT already been done : We hope to be a refreshing buffet that will be your ONE-STOP-SHOP for rustic articles and NEWS(DESI KHABAR & VIDESH VARTHA tabs on the top). We also promise to not IRRITATE you with ADVERTISEMENTS. We have infused VIDEOS, PHOTOS and a lot more GRAPHICS than your run of the mill text blogs. That’s just for starters. If you have comments-suggestions, please do mail it to us indimag@gmail.com , we will take a look and incorporate good suggestions…
