RAAVAN – Film Review – Filmy, Predictable and Hugely Disappointing
RAAVAN isn’t a movie you expect from Mani Rathnam – it is an epic disappointment and most of that is Rathnam’s fault. I would much rather suggest re-watching an Anjali, Roja, Nayakan or Bombay than watch RAAVAN.

Bollywood Hits in 2009 ? Few And Far Inbetween
Shruthi Hassan and Imran Khan’s ‘Luck’ had a ‘Luck’wa(stroke) at the box office. Luck eluded Shruthi’s dad too. Again. Kamal Hassan with 3 hits — ‘Sagar’,’ Geraftar’,’ Ek Duje Ke Liye’ and 30 flops in Hindi, added one more flop to his credit with ‘Dashavtar’. If the director had agreed to Kamal’s suggestion and let him play Asin’s and Mallika Sherawat’s role too, maybe it would have clicked ? We should do better ? For a movie industry that’s prides as the largest in the world, the 2009 fare has been abysmal. Don’t you agree ? What do you think ails us ?
