The Garden city of India and the silicon valley is a vibrant city in the Deccan peninsula is oft heard for it’s bludgeoning traffic of people and vehicles and an equally skyrocketing plague of governmental mis-management. The city locals deserve much credit for braving many odds and still putting up a brave front..

What’s in a name? A lot apparently if the spate of Indian city renamings in recent years is any indication: Trivandrum, Bombay, Madras, Calcutta, Bangalore have been renamed and many more proposed: Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Patna to name a few.
